AWS is not FREE for your personal use. However, they do provide a AWS FREE tier for 12 months where you will be able to explore their services [almost 85 products] that are eligible for AWS FREE tier. They also provide some services that are FREE forever. Actually, three different types of free offers are available depending on the product used.
- Always free – These AWS free tier offers do not expire and are available to all AWS customers
- 12 months free – Enjoy these offers for 12-months following your initial sign-up date to AWS
- Trials – Short-term AWS free trial offers start from the date you activate a particular service

- Amazon EC2 – 750 Hours per month
- Amazon S3 – 5 GB of standard storage
- Amazon RDS – 750 Hours per month of db.t2.micro database usage
- Amazon API Gateway – 1 Million API Calls Received per month
- Amazon Cloud Directory – 1 GB of Storage per month
- Amazon CloudFront – 50 GB of data transfer out
- Amazon Comprehend – 50 K units of text (5M characters) for each API per month
- Amazon Connect – 90 Minutes per month of Amazon Connect usage
- Amazon EFS – 5 GB of storage
- Amazon Elastic Block Storage – 30 GB any combination of General Purpose (SSD) or Magnetic
- Amazon Elastic Container Registry – 500 MB per month of storage
